Matthew (30 weeks)

Matthew wrote by the power of the Holy Spirit, primarily to his fellow Jews, proving through Scripture that Jesus’s life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah. In studying this Gospel, you can clearly hear Matthew’s message: Jesus is indeed the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Immanuel, God with us!

Join us as we take this exciting journey through the study of Matthew.

First day of class: September 11, 2024

Last day of class: May 14, 2025

York Day Class - meets on Wednesdays 9:15-11:15 am (with breaks for Thanksgiving and Christmas). adults and children

Wednesday Evening Core group - This is a Co-ed class. 6:30-8:00 pm (with breaks for Thanksgiving and Christmas) adults only

Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible.

Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book/s with a commentary and home study questions.

Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching.

During the year there are fellowship opportunities within your Core Group for times of sharing and building relationship.

Next Gen Ministry

Through Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, craft, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment for children, where they can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children, nursery to teen, to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's & Youth Ministry. Classes for grades 1-12 study the same Scripture as mom.
